How to calculate for taxi metered in Thailand for a person who might want to estimate for the fare of the taxi in Thailand.
Normally when travel by taxi metered in Thailand the price will be as shown on the below table

| 2-12 | 5 baht/km |
| 12-20 | 5.50 baht/km |
| 20-40 | 6 baht/km |
| 40-60 | 6.50 baht/km |
| 60-80 | 7.50 baht/km |
| 80 up | 8.50 baht/km |
in case of stop or move not more than 6 kms/hour the metered will calculate in the rate of 1.50 baht /minute and will be shown as per 2 baht interval.
For calculating the fare will be seperated in the distance and the timing. For the distance the metered will calculate for the price and in case of some decimals will be up on the higher number such as 47.75 will be 49 baht which is the odd next numbers. For the timing will calculate likev3.75 baht will be deducted to 2 baht which is the even number back.
