Please be noted that International Suvarnabhumi airport is located a bit far from Bangkok about 35 kms so after landing keepin mind that you have to take at least 30 minutes by taking a taxi, bus or Airport rail Link in order to reach the capital city of Thailand Bangkok. When you have alraedy arrived in Bangkok you can go by many ways of transportations such as taxi or BTS Sky train or public bus or even take a short walk and checking in some place of the hotels to rest and plan for exposing the Bangkok.
For many of people who going to Thailand and landing at Suvarnabhumi airport and want to travel to the city area Bangkok were located about 30 km from the airport. There are many kinds of transportations for you to choose for example the bus, taxi, and Airport rail Link.

A Simple Plan for visiting Thailand

Which part of thailand that you want to go aside from Bangkok the capital city,in fact there are alot of place to go and see it depense on what do you want to see and do.
Let's start from Bangkok I would recommend to find a cheap hotel about 20-30 USD per night where available in all part of the city just take your time to visit and see around Bangkok for places ,people, transportation system, shopping ,eating ,night life and etc. In the view ,if you time available 2-3 days would be great enough for you to do so ,otherwise you may get bored if you found that too much traffic jam and crowed.
The next stop could be some of intereting places near or around Bangkok where you can go in the mornig and come back in the evening if you want to stay in Bangkok and below are some of popular places where most of the people go.
Pattaya beach : Located in the east side of BKK and take about 2 hrs to get to;the place is kind of the sand beach and some of bar beer and night life to see and experience, however the beach and the sand is not so calm and clean due to the crowed and business building around the beach ,however for the clean and calm nice beach you have to take a boat or speed boat away to the island where alot of beautiful beach and island to see and stay.
Ex-Capital city Ayutthaya province ;Located in the north of Bangkok ,used to be the capital city during the past 600 year ago where people can see some of acceint places such old Buddha temple,King palaces ,musiums and historical site and related.
River Khwai,Khanchanaburi province;Located about 2 hrs by driving from Bangkok in the western side. well known for the WWII historical place where the combat took place between allies country and the imperer of Japan ;what you can see is some of the bridge and musium where shown and display the the suffering prisoner who was forced to build the bridge to cross the river Khwai.
will continue later to the northern part Chiengmai and down to the southern part Phuket for the family or a single who want to see and experience more in Thailand.

A taxi fare in Thailand

How to calculate for taxi metered in Thailand for a person who might want to estimate for the fare of the taxi in Thailand.
Normally when travel by taxi metered in Thailand the price will be as shown on the below table

Distance/KMFare/Baht
0-135 baht
2-125 baht/km
12-205.50 baht/km
20-406 baht/km
40-606.50 baht/km
60-807.50 baht/km
80 up8.50 baht/km

in case of stop or move not more than 6 kms/hour the metered will calculate in the rate of 1.50 baht /minute and will be shown as per 2 baht interval.
For calculating the fare will be seperated in the distance and the timing. For the distance the metered will calculate for the price and in case of some decimals will be up on the higher number such as 47.75 will be 49 baht which is the odd next numbers. For the timing will calculate likev3.75 baht will be deducted to 2 baht which is the even number back.
This information is just for travel estimate or planning only some time depende on the traffic condition and road condition.

Basic air travel in Thailand

Travelling in Thailand for the new comer or visitors can be a problem without a good trip plan or advance study,in order to avoice such a problem better learn something about travelling information before coming to Thailand.
One of the best ways to learn is internet ,thank to the information technology development now a day with a high seed internet network cover the grobal area,so we can easily find information in need quickly and in time.
By the way looking for travelling information in my country is not so easy as mention above becauase of most of them in Thai language not in English that make them hard to learn or try to understand.

How to visit Hkao Yai National Park Korat Thailand

why to vist Khao Yai National Park  instead of Pattaya.
Most of tourists who come to Thailand are heading to the beach or  island like Phuket island or PP ,however if you want somthings different I would recommend to visit Khao Yai National Park in Nakon Raschasima Province where you can experience something diffently.
Khao Yai National Park is well known for a rich national resources, culture, beautiful mountainous park sites and  fubulous climate especially in the winter season during mid Dec - Feb of the year.
So ,if you are sick of the beach and smoke or whiskey around the island why don't you looking for somthings new.  Next visit to Thailand go to visit Hkao Yai National Park is very interesting.

How to Get to Khao Yai National Park

The most convenient ways is by coach busThere are coach buses in route Bangkok – Nakhon Ratchasima which take off in every20 mintues since 04.00 – 20.00 hrs. It take around 2 hours and 390 minutes for transportation. You can buy ticket at the Bangkok transfer station (Morchit 2) at the 2nd floor. The 1 floor air-conditioned bus and the 2 floors air-conditioned bus which drive to Nakhon Ratchasima called Sai 21 (Bangkok – Nakhon Ratchasima).

There are 3 franchise private companies as below:

- Ratchasima Tour Company - Tel. (Bangkok) 02-936-1615, (Nakhon Ratchasima) 044-245-443
- Air Korat Pattana Company - Tel. (Bangkok) 02-936-2252, (Nakhon Ratchasima) 044-252-999
- Suranaree Air Company

A coach bus will drive on 2 routes:

1. Drive to downtown of Pak Chong district. Ask for getting off at Pak Chong transport station.
2. Special rapid coach bus service 24 hours which does not drive into Pak Chong district. The coach bus will drive straightly to Nakhon Ratchasima province. In this point, tourists have to ask a staff carefully unless you might have to get off the coach bus on the way or get off at Pak Chong Tesco Lotus and then catch minibus to get to Pak Chong municipal market in front of Pak Chong transport station. There are whole pick-up rentals 450 baht (Tel. 088-703-4280) or bus service which you can get in at Khao Yai and the bus will take off in every 1 hour with service fee total 30 baht. But the bus will deliver you at the entrance km 15 only (do not forge to inform a driver where you would like to get off). Then, you have to change a car to get to the resort around 7 km.
Return Trip: Due to Park Chong district is between Nakhon Racchasima and Bangkok. The return trip is needed to wait for a coach bus which drives from terminal at Nakhon Racchasima. On average, a coach bus will come in every 45 minutes. You can buy a ticket at 3 terminals as following:

1. The terminal in front of Handy Mart convenience store
2. The terminal next to Pak Chong Chareon Mit Cross hotel
3. The terminal (Transport Service) Behind Kakinang restaurant

Alternate ways is by By trainFor a person who does not to hurry and need to take a classic view of Thai trains. There are trains take off from the Bangkok station (Hua Lampong) to Pak Chong station every day. It takes around 5 hours for transportation. Thai government has announced that the free rail for people was expanded for 3 months from 16 Jan, 2012 - 30 Apr, 2012 in order to help people.
By getting the support of the budget expense and separate 2 parts. The policy is to reduce the cost of living life of Thai people. The public will arrange 164 rails per day and the long distance 8 rails per day.

Comment :
I have used to take the free train time to time from BKK to Lopburi province which is take about 2.30 hrs to reach the site. The good is you not to pay for the ticket and looking the view along the rail track ,but this ways is the slowest way to travel ,so if you want something faster ,more convenient then you had better take a bus ,a mini bus instead.

Before boarding :
You have to contact the ticket seller person ,tell your destination and then get the free ticket.
